Acme Transport Ltd. achieved significant cost savings through a structural redesign, eliminating all structural steel and utilizing load-bearing precast concrete walls—while still delivering a true A-Class industrial facility. To optimize site conditions, Azimuth lowered the building by two feet, reducing fill and foundation wall requirements. The resulting efficiencies allowed for the addition of a hydronic heating system in the semi-trailer ramp-down apron, ensuring snow-free operations throughout winter.

The final design features high clear heights, dock and ramp-up loading, LED lighting, tall glazed façades, turnkey construction, and a full ESFR sprinkler system— balancing innovation, performance, and long-term value.
